El Classico is the foundation of Wild Fish Stories apparel. A fishing sweatshirt designed over 2 years, tested in Polish conditions – from water to city.

Who is El Classico for?

For anglers and outdoor enthusiasts who need a sweatshirt that performs in all conditions. When you don't want a vest. When you only take your rod, a tackle box, and a landing net. For water, forest, and city.

What makes El Classico stand out?

A cotton-polyester blend with a weight of 320g/m² – denser, more stable, and more resistant to daily wear than classic sweatshirts. Polyester adds durability and flexibility, while cotton provides comfort. The ideal weight for outdoor activities without overheating issues.

Creation process

2 years of design. Three changes to the cut. Two changes to the fabric. Refined loop stitching. Tested by anglers.

Why a polyester blend and not pure cotton?
Polyester adds durability and flexibility. Pure cotton stretches quickly and loses shape. We tested both options – the blend wins for intensive use.

Is El Classico suitable for winter?
Yes, as a mid-layer in a 3-layer system. The 320g weight provides insulation without overheating during activity. It performs well from early spring to late autumn.

How to care for El Classico?
Wash at 30°C, no fabric softener. Natural drying.
