The Salmon Flat Cap is a model created in collaboration with the legendary Sterkowski workshop - inspired by the caps worn on the streets of Birmingham in the late 19th century. The very same ones made famous by the Peaky Blinders gang.

British Millerain waxed cotton - waxed cotton with a tradition dating back to 1880. The same material used in outdoor workwear in the late 19th century. Resistant to wind, moisture, and time. It gains character with each season - the cap lives with you.

Comfort and finish
The cotton lining and sweatband ensure comfort even during long days in the field. It doesn't overheat in summer, protects in autumn and spring. The cap fits well on the head without pressure - you can wear it all day long.

The unique lining graphic was created by Tomasz Korzewski - the raw, symbolic character of Wild Fish Stories meets the heritage of Birmingham at the end of the 19th century.

Each piece is hand-sewn in Poland by the masters of Sterkowski - a workshop with 100 years of tradition.
FAQ
Is the cap waterproof?
British Millerain waxed cotton is resistant to light and moderate rain. It will not leak for an hour. In heavy rain, water will eventually seep through (it's not Gore-Tex).
What size cap should I choose?
Check the last photo for how to measure your head.
How to care for the cap?
DO NOT machine wash. Dry brush or damp cloth. Waxed cotton does not like detergents. The more it is used, the better it looks - patina is a value. Re-waxing every 2 years extends the life of the cap.
Can the cap be worn in summer?
Yes, the cotton lining breathes. Waxed cotton protects from the sun better than synthetics. The cap does not overheat
